Supplement recommendations from Life Code

April 27th, 2010 by jadeadmin

One big topic we’ll be debating at the conference is nutritional supplements.  Conference speaker Gregory Benford’s company Genescient has spun out Life Code (“Unlocking the Code to Extend Life and Youth Beyond 100″); here are their supplement recommendations — see what you think:

  1. Interesting list – I haven’t seen stem cells recommended before! For my body, the 3 times in my life that I’ve taken calcium supplements have led to full-body neuropathic-type pain that is pretty scary. It builds up over a month, especially in my joints, so I feel like I have arthritis and can barely walk, then slowly reverses after I stop calcium and keep taking magnesium. It’s one of those blanket “take calcium” recommendations that everyone is assumed to need, so I just wanted to post a caveat that each supplement should be tested for your individual body.

Alexandra’s comment is important, and highlights why the name of this conference starts with “Personalized”!

I have utilized caloric shifting and it was very effecient at helping me lose fat. I would recommend this method because it is effective.
